Gavin Dooley

Biography

Class of 2028
Gavin Dooley is a graduate student pursuing a Ph.D. in mathematics, having previously earned a B.S. in Mathematics and Global Affairs with a minor in French and Francophone Studies. Originally from Northwest Indiana, he lived in Knott Hall in his undergrad and currently lives in Mishawaka. Before joining the Bagpipe Band, he had played piano, cello, and percussion, but the great Highland bagpipe is a horse of a completely different color! He joined to experience a musical tradition that embodies the ambiance of Notre Dame and loves performing for audiences unfamiliar to bagpipes. His favorite tune is The Glendaruel Highlanders, and he hopes to continue playing casually after his 2nd graduation.
