From May 18th until August 6th, our band has few to no members on campus. We are unlikely to accommodate any gig requests during this time.
Hire the Pipers of the Fighting Irish for your event!
We have played for tailgates, private parties, weddings, funerals, barbeques, official functions, and other informal events in and around the South Bend area.
Our rates depend on the number of musicians requested, the length of the show, and the distance to the event. Typical band performances are in the $200-400 range.
When booking, there is the option to request specific tunes. Check our band's repertoire to specify the tunes you would like at your event. If you would like to request a tune that is not listed, a solo piper might be able to fulfill the request; however, this service is not guaranteed and will come with an additional fee.
Booking Preferences
We are primarily a student band, which results in the following preferences for scheduling:
- For local gigs, we prefer to schedule within the same semester so we know our class schedules (August-December and January-May).
- For non-local gigs, we prefer more advanced notice (2-3+ months) to arrange legal details with the Notre Dame Student Activities Office.
