Biography

Dan Gezelter is a faculty member (and department chair) in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry and serves as the band’s faculty advisor. A piper since 1981, Dan has been part of the band since coming to Notre Dame in 1999 and enjoys the spring competitions and performing on game days. His favorite pipe tunes are Bessie Weatherston, Hector the Hero, and From Maui to Kona.
